Multiliteracies:
Digital Storytelling
Home: Welcome
“Beginning in 2018, Taiwan has been promoting University Social Responsibility (USR) Projects, allowing universities to emerge as active contributors to local sustainability” (The Executive Yuan).
Tying in a recent global advocation entitled Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), an intergovernmental agreement established in the United Nations in 2015, this small contest aims to make its biggest effort in response to the call with an integrated purpose: encouraging university language majors to deploy their multiliteracies competencies to the service of humankind, including our immediate societies, ecological environments, and the whole international community, so as to play a part in the joint endeavor of creating a better world.
This contest features and celebrates video projects that raise college students’ awareness of their social responsibilities and encourage real problem-solving actions to support the notion of SDGs for the common good of the one globe we inhabit.

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward.
You can only connect them looking backwards, so you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.”

“You’ve got to find what you love.
If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking, and don’t settle.”
